چکیده

Quantum devices may overcome limitations of classical computers in studies nuclear structure functions and parton Wigner distributions protons nuclei. In this talk, we discuss a worldline approach to compute the high energy Regge limit QCD using hybrid quantum computer, by expressing fermion determinant path integral as mechanical over $0+1$-dimensional fermionic bosonic world-lines background gauge fields. Our simplest example computing well-known dipole model result for function $F_2$ is feasible with NISQ era technology few qubits shallow circuits. This can be scaled up complexity extended scope functions, scattering amplitudes other real-time correlation QCD, relevant describe non-equilibrium transport quarks gluons Quark-Gluon-Plasma.

Really computing nonperturbative real time correlation functions.

It has been argued by Grigoriev and Rubakov that one can simulate real time processes involving baryon number non-conservation at high temperature using real time evolution of classical equations, and summing over initial conditions with a classical thermal weight. It is known that such a naive algorithm is plagued by ultraviolet divergences. In quantum theory the divergences are regularized, b...

Workload Functions: A New Paradigm for Real-time Computing

Distributed computing is being deployed in many domains to enhance survivability, scalability and flexibility. Unfortunately, the full potential of distributed computing cannot be realized in the domain of real-time because many popular system engineering approaches characterize the resource needs of tasks with a priori worst case execution times and allocate processes to computers at design ti...

On Real-Time and Non Real-Time Distributed Computing

Abs t r ac t . In this paper, taking an algorithmic viewpoint, we explore the differences existing between the class of non real-time computing problems (R~) versus the class of real-time computing problems (~). We show how a problem in class RN can be transformed into its counterpart in class ~. Claims of real-time behavior made for solutions to problems in class ~ are examined. Ah example of ...

Hybrid Image Coding for Real-Time Computer Screen Video Transmission

In this paper, we present a novel hybrid image coding scheme for real-time applications of computer screen video transmission. Based on the Mixed Raster Content (MRC) multilayer imaging model, the background picture is compressed with lossy JPEG, and the foreground layer consisting of text and graphics is compressed with a block-based lossless coding algorithm, which integrates shape-based codi...

Iterative Monte Carlo formulation of real-time correlation functions.

We present an iterative Monte Carlo path integral methodology for evaluating thermally averaged real-time correlation functions. Standard path integral Monte Carlo methods are used to sample paths along the imaginary time contour. Propagation of the density matrix is performed iteratively on a grid composed of the end points of the sampled paths. Minimally oscillatory propagators are constructe...
